DOMa Session at the Architect Show

We were pleased to take part in a panel discussion at this year’s the Architect Show, curated by DOMa Institution and moderated by Haris Biskos.

Through the example of Liknon, the brand house of METAXA in Samos, and with the contribution of Huity Konstantinidou -Hospitality, Heritage & Events Director of The House of Metaxa-, Konstantinos Karantzoulis -Rural & Surveying Engineer and Trail Planner at Paths of Greece-, and Panos Kostoulas -Architect and Founding Member of Boulouki-, Dimitris Karampatakis joined a session dedicated to exploring the role of paths as infrastructure and cultural heritage.

The discussion highlighted paths as living systems that carry memory, knowledge, and social practices. Through maintaining, reactivating, and re-inhabiting them, paths preserve heritage by keeping it alive, evolving, and deeply connected to contemporary life.

Right Here, Right Now | Friday Matters by K-Studio & ODASSIEN with Piers Taylor

Friday Matters is a forum that brings design conversations out of the studio and into a convivial, interactive setting — blending the rigor of a lecture, the intimacy of a gathering, and the energy of a Friday night out.

Last October, we invited the design community at Castor Place, where our guest Piers Taylor walked us through his research on context, locality, and the vernacular in architecture, while interactive curiosities from top creatives ignited a playful exploration of culture, and creativity.

Grimshaw, Haptic, K-Studio, with Arup, Leslie Jones, Triagonal and Plan A, design the Expansion of Athens International Airport

We are enormously proud to announce that we have joined forces with Grimshaw, Haptic, Arup, Leslie Jones, Triagonal and Plan A to design the expansion of the Athens International Airport (AIA). The project honours the layered history of Athens while embracing the airport’s future as a sustainable, efficient and intuitive hub. With a design rooted in place, shaped by light, and driven by purpose, the expansion will elevate AIA’s capacity to 40 million passengers by 2032 — transforming it into a gateway that reflects the spirit of the city it serves.
Working alongside such an experienced consortium brings invaluable knowledge and fresh perspective to our team and skill force — deepening our capacity to deliver at scale, with care, precision, and purpose.

ALL PLACES WE HAVE ENGAGED WITH HAVE A COMMON ELEMENT; THE AESTHETIC BLISS OF NATURAL BEAUTY AND CULTURAL MAGNITUDE.

We create crafted architectural experiences that are informed by tradition, enriched by materiality and inspired by contemporary life.

K-Studio x AKFC

We have partnered with Athens Kallithea FC to propose a next generation upgrade for the Grigoris Lamprakis Stadium, commonly known as “El Paso”.

In an initial phase, K-Studio will undertake the early conceptualization and re-envisioning of the project, as AKFC seeks to explore a modern venue for sport, music, and other forms of art, culture, and entertainment, while ensuring to honor the site’s history and character.

Built in 1970, Grigoris Lamprakis Stadium is a public stadium that is owned and operated by the Municipality of Kallithea. The stadium’s “El Paso” nickname is a reference to Sergio Leone’s 1965 Spaghetti Western film For a Few Dollars More (which had the Greek title “Duel in El Paso”) starring Clint Eastwood, as the stadium was built on the site of a quarry and features a tall rock along the north side of the pitch, which was thought to be reminiscent of scenes from the film.

The first visualizations of the new El Paso proposal are expected in Spring 2026.

Infinity

In Villa Infinity, a traditional ibizan finca, the pure and elegant building envelope clad in local, natural materials becomes a canvas for the vibrant hues of everyday life and allows contemporary expressions to take center stage. Reflecting the owners’ deep appreciation for fine design and art, iconic pieces alongside bespoke elements we designed specifically for the project are celebrated. Tactility, craftsmanship, and a sense of uniqueness infuse the home with an emotional resonance, revealing themselves in every detail.
