Proud to share this feature on Southwand House in Costa Navarino, beautifully written by Amy Frearson for Dezeen, capturing it as a heartfelt ode to the Greek landscape — where stone, concrete, and light create a sanctuary for soulful living.

Athens International Airport Expansion has been shortlisted in the Future Project: Infrastructure category at the World Architecture Festival Awards 2025!
Led by an international team including Grimshaw, Haptic, K-Studio, Arup, Leslie Jones, Triagonal and Plan A, the design concept brings together the existing and the new airport facilities to extend the airport’s capacity through a phased upgrade within a live operational airport.
This unifying force in turn responds to its context – through architecture, materiality, landscape and the Athenian life. And two microcosms of this, a north and south oculus, create real Mediterranean experiences and gardens, to meet, wait and reflect: destination and dwelling places in an inherently transient environment.
We are embracing this challenge with increasing enthusiasm, as we receive a growing recognition of the design’s merit by a jury as the one of WAF!

Perched on an outcrop overlooking the ancient town of Pylos and the Bay of Navarino in the Peloponnese, Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino celebrates the productive landscapes of Messinia.
Inspired by the area’s agricultural heritage, the resort is in tune with its magnificent terroir. Its serpentine stone walls follow the topographical lines, embedding the building volumes within the undulating hills. In some places, they rise above the terrain, creating spectacular spatial moments.
The resort feels more like a landscape than a building. Its enclosures are split into multiple smaller-scale modules, which are peppered throughout the topography, transforming it into an inhabitable landscape.
Head to our project gallery to navigate through this extraordinary landscape, developed along with Tombazis Architects.
