A Year in Perspective: 2025

Before 2025 draws its close, we take stock of a year shaped by ideas developed together, trust built over time, and work that extended across disciplines and geographies.

Across projects and initiatives, this year has been defined by commitment, exchange, and thoughtful making — a reminder of the value of working closely, thinking carefully, and creating with purpose.

As we pause to acknowledge all that 2025 has brought, we are grateful for the confidence and trust of everyone who has been on our side, and for the collective energy that continues to guide our work.

With this perspective, we step into the year ahead with optimism and renewed intent, open to new challenges, ideas, and possibilities.

Wishing everyone a restorative and inspiring season, and a year ahead full of potential!

MOCNA Multiple Winner of AHEAD Europe 2025

Mandarin Oriental Costa Navarino was distinguished in both Resort and Landscaping & Outdoor Spaces categories of this year’s AHEAD Europe Awards, in a Ceremony celebrated yesterday, 27th November, in London.

The hotel is stitched into its place -both literally and conceptually- drawing from the rural agrarian vernacular of “mandria” to unfold a world of luxury and authenticity within earth-sheltered spaces that dissolve into the lush Messinian landscape. Ribbon-like stone walls hold and articulate the terrain, highlighting the natural slope as part of the architectural experience.

We are proud to celebrate this accolade along with our collaborators, Tombazis & Associates Architects, Coopers Hill, Greenways, Afroditi, Alexander Waterworth Interiors and MKV Design, and look forward to facing all regional winners at AHEAD Global later this year.

K-Studio x AKFC

We have partnered with Athens Kallithea FC to propose a next generation upgrade for the Grigoris Lamprakis Stadium, commonly known as “El Paso”.

In an initial phase, K-Studio will undertake the early conceptualization and re-envisioning of the project, as AKFC seeks to explore a modern venue for sport, music, and other forms of art, culture, and entertainment, while ensuring to honor the site’s history and character.

Built in 1970, Grigoris Lamprakis Stadium is a public stadium that is owned and operated by the Municipality of Kallithea. The stadium’s “El Paso” nickname is a reference to Sergio Leone’s 1965 Spaghetti Western film For a Few Dollars More (which had the Greek title “Duel in El Paso”) starring Clint Eastwood, as the stadium was built on the site of a quarry and features a tall rock along the north side of the pitch, which was thought to be reminiscent of scenes from the film.

The first visualizations of the new El Paso proposal are expected in Spring 2026.

The New Rhythm of Time in the Greek Mountains by Hype & Hyper

“High in the Peloponnese, among Arcadia’s whispering pines, stands a house once built for healing. Nearly a century later, it still is — only now, the cure lies in stillness.
MANNA Arcadia is not a place you visit. It’s a place you settle into.
The architecture respects time more than trends.”

Hype & Hyper, the magazine that provides a unique summary of all things exciting in the Central and Eastern European region in the fields of design, business, architecture and culture, has visited Manna and praises with elegance the reawakening of the formerly abandoned sanatorium.
