HR Head
Job Description
K-Studio is seeking an experienced HR Head to join our team in Athens.
We are looking for an experienced HR professional to take full ownership of our People Operations. This is a pivotal role for our studio as we transition into our next phase of growth and create a team who will structure and establish an end-to-end HR department from the ground up, and optimize our existing processes..
Beyond managing day-to-day operations, this role is meant to bring deep domain expertise to the studio, by organising our leadership and team on HR best practices, and guiding us on how to build a fully structured, and thriving working environment that fosters continuous growth.
We are a creative studio of architects and interior designers based in central Athens. Over the years we have grown and evolved into a dynamic team of talented creatives that share a passion for authentic and holistic design, along with a united goal to grow and learn at every opportunity.

Requirements
Degree in Human Resources or a related field, OR a Bachelor’s degree in a related field combined with a Master’s degree in Human Resources
5+ years of solid experience in HR, People Operations, or Generalist HR roles, with a proven track record of setting up or optimizing HR processes
Deep expertise in full-cycle recruitment, performance management frameworks, onboarding, and employee development
Strong command of Greek labor law, HR compliance (ERGANI, EFKA, etc.), and external payroll coordination
Proven capability to operate with full autonomy, bringing structure, best practices, and actionable HR solutions to the management team
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with high emotional intelligence
Ability to handle sensitive employee relations with discretion, empathy, and professional maturity
High proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Slides, Sheets) or Microsoft Office for reporting, presentations, and data management
Fluency in Greek and English with excellent written and spoken communication skills

Key Areas of Responsibility
HR Strategy, People Operations & Talent
Take full ownership of end-to-end recruitment (postings, CV/portfolio reviews, interview coordination) and candidate onboarding.
Manage internship administration programs (ESPA, university partnerships).
Design, schedule, and run annual reviews, appraisals, goal-setting, and continuous feedback loops alongside leadership.
Support organizational change initiatives, coordinate coaching/feedback mechanisms, and organize internal/external training sessions.
Payroll & Compliance
Oversee monthly payroll administration and employee contracts (agreements, changes, expenses) in close collaboration with external partners.
Act as the internal expert on Greek labor law, coordinate ERGANI submissions, manage insurance policies (EFKA, etc.), and perform HR safety audits.
Track all types of team absences (annual leave, maternity, sick leave, sabbaticals and enforce daily attendance compliance.
Administer employee benefits and maintain structured digital employee records.
Leadership, Culture & Employee Relations
Serve as a trusted point of contact for employees, providing conflict resolution, and fostering a safe working environment.
Promote company values and culture through initiatives, clear communication, and organizational policy updates.
Collaborate with Studio Management team for studio events, internal celebrations, and trips
